The local church isn’t just something you attend—it’s a family you belong in. Everyone is welcome to attend, but membership is a greater commitment to church out of Scriptural Obedience. At its core, membership is about knowing and being known. It’s about stepping into deeper relationships where everyone can effectively Engage, Invest, Grow and Communicate. Membership connects people in the organizational framework of the local church, in which members help shape the vision, direction, and trajectory of the church.

 

Our hope is that every member would have a deep understanding of our church’s mission and values, and what it means to be fully engaged in what God is doing here within us and through us. Together, we can accomplish so much more toward God’s vision for Tahoe than we ever could on our own.

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

If you are interested in becoming a member at Tahoe Church, follow these steps:

 

  1. Participate in a Membership Class - There are two ways to join a class. One option is to register for an in-person membership class offered several times throughout the year. Click Here to check for any upcoming in person classes.  The other option is to complete an online membership class. For the online membership class you will need to watch a series of 5 videos and review the relevant douments. To participate in the Online Membership Class, watch the videos below.
  2. Meet with Leadership Team - After you have completed a membership class, you will be able to set up a meeting with a member of our Leadership Team to answer any additional questions and finalize approval for membership. This can be set up as an in person meeting or by phone call. 
  3. Sign a Membership Covenant - Once you have been approved for membership, you will be given a membership covenant to review, sign and submit. This is the final step to becoming a member and you will then be able to participate in every aspect of membership at Tahoe Church.

After you send the request, someone from our team will be in contact shortly to schedule a time to meet.
